Team Kudzu is going political today! I don't know everyone's political affiliation, but a bit of news hit today and this is so outrageous that it warrants a post on my blog.
First, today, U.S. intelligence agencies have concluded that Iran halted its nuclear weapons program in 2003 and that international pressure has compelled the Islamic Republic to back away from its pursuit of the bomb. This can be found here.
Second, the Bush administration has repeatedly said that if Iran obtained nuclear weapons there would be "World War III". Now, with all this new information he is still using the same rhetoric and not changing his opinion. Hello? I can't make a cake without some flower and Iran sure as hell can't start World War III or build some nukes without some uranium.
Last, the Kudzu POV here is that this administration and for the most part, the Republican party is using terrorism and fear to keep themselves in power. The whole while, they are taking the US economy and our reputation into the toilet. Think about it, when was the last time this country was not under a Code Yellow or higher Terrorism threat?
Full disclosure: I am, for the most part, an Independent voter and would rather not see Hillary in office either.
