Mancation 2010 (Seattle)

Well, by the sounds of it, I am not providing this blog with the updates that some of you would like. There are times in my life when life itself gets too busy (kind of like the last month). Anywho, its Labor Day weekend and its time to spend some time with the family and update this damn blog.

Mancation 2010...what a great time, where to start? Well, this years M10 was small (as in two people - Corey and me) and we set off to sea kayak the San Juan Islands in upper northwest area of Washington State. The idea of this trip was to get away from it all (and to see some Orca whales). This idea "to get away from it all" was a big change of pace from previous years adventures where we just tried to kill ourselves.

The start of the trip was a half-day layover over in Seattle. Corey and I walked and walked and then walked some more to see all the sites one should see in a half-day layover in Seattle: Space Needle and Pikes Place (home of the fish tossing store, original Starbucks and weird-o nick-knack stores). We also ate at this place called Pagliacci Pizza for dinner - make sure you order the Salumi's Spicy Pepperoni - Yum!
