Day 25 (Colored up)

Man, we are coming down to the finish line. We have the Antique White here in the Play Room, stairway and also in the hallway.

Looking into the hallway, you can see the two colors we picked for the Reading Room (left) and the Office (right).

Here is the office. Very light blue, almost a sky blue. The two lights above have burned out. Hence the low light level.

Reading Room painted a lighter version of Sage. The book shelves will be on the opposite wall and will be stained the same as the hardwoods. The shelving (unstained) will be going in tomorrow.

Here is the TV Room. Its painted Dove, a lighter shade of the Antique White. It allows for better TV viewing while still creating a nice contrast between the wall and trim. It also allows the Antique White to flow while not creating a Zen/Chi imbalance (for the record - I don't know what I just typed - its sounds good though).

You can see that the old hardwood floors have this brown glue on them. This substance (sawdust mixed with glue) fills in the gaps that have formed over time. Everything should get sanded tomorrow ensuring that the Kudzu Dust Level system will be off the charts before this project gets wrapped up.

Dust level: blue
