A lazy few weeks

Its been a quite few weeks here at the Kudzu homestead (hence the picture of David sleeping and lack of any blog updates). We went to a birthday party last week, Helen, GA prior to that and we have just enjoyed not having anything pressing to do.

Garage update: We now have an attorney that is going to help us out with getting a permit for our garage. I have to shell out some serious cash for her services and she still can't guarantee that, in the end, we will have the paperwork to get started on things. Wish us luck. If all goes to plan, we will re-apply for the permit in February - a full year since this whole process started.

New - kitchen remodel: Since the garage is on hold and we still need to renovate the kitchen to finish this house up we are getting the preliminary plans to start our kitchen remodel. This is in case the garage falls through and I have to wait 2 years for new board members to approve the variance.
